Chicken and sweet potatoes waffles we're both perfect on their own. Waffles had small pieces of sweet potatoes which elevated the taste. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Cafe de olla Americano was delicious. Outdoor seating only.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for over a year because it’s on my way to work but their hours don’t allow me since they open at 8 and close before I get off. If this place opened at 6am, I would be here at least 2x a week. I don’t live nearby so the weekend isn’t an option since I try to avoid my place of work when I’m off lol.

What a gem! Some of the best coffee in Fort Worth and incredible food to match. Their pumpkin spice latte was incredible - super smooth and strong coffee taste with well balanced - not too sweet - pumpkin spice flavor. The Hot Chicken sandwich was one of the best cooked chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Bacon egg and cheese was perfect.

Sundays are our fun days—our time to discover unique spots with great vibes and mouthwatering food. This place? Total winner. It entertained everything! The food was beyond delicious, and my chai latte? Absolute perfection. Hubby had the Arnold Palmer Refreshing Chef’s kiss! I don’t even know if I’ll bother trying anything else—this might just be the spot for chicken and waffles and my go-to chai latte from here on out. Side Sundays, consider yourselves upgraded! Hidden Gem!

I met a client here around 10 AM on a weekday here and there was no long wait—huge plus. I had the horchata latte with strawberry (so good!) and my client had the iced chai latte with strawberry—we were both impressed. We didn’t try the food this time, but I saw they offer pastries during the week and more food options on weekends. Can’t wait to come back!

I stopped in for a latte and was genuinely impressed by the flavor. Smooth, rich, and just the right balance of bold and creamy. The atmosphere? Adorable. Whether you’re catching up with friends, spending time with family, or grabbing a casual coffee with coworkers, this place makes you feel welcome. It’s the kind of spot that invites you to linger a little longer, soak in the vibe, and maybe even snap a few pics for the feed. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great coffee and cozy corners.

Ordered the breakfast burrito and should have split with someone because that thing is packed full of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and cheese. Little bit of a wait on weekend, but expected when food is made fresh. One of my favorite spots in Funkytown.

If you’re ever in Forth Worth Texas this place is a must!!! This is my first time here and Cafe x Jose has set the bar high. Best breakfast and coffee! We had the steak egg and cheese taco and the hashbrown egg and cheese taco with a red velvet waffle on the side. Steak was tender and flavorful and served on a fresh homemade tortilla. Thank to the cook and great service

The beverages and breakfast food are so yummy! We got the steak, egg, and hash brown breakfast burrito and it was incredible!! It’s a huge portion and full of flavor. We also got two of the waffles (yum!) and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The bread on the sandwich is thick and the eggs are cooked very well! The breakfast items are each very filling. We tried three different beverages. The matcha with Dulce de leche was genuinely the best matcha I’ve ever had!! (I’ve tried so many at other places). The second beverage was the iced horchata latte and it was so good we bought a second one for the road! The third beverage was the iced dirty chai with dulce de leche and it had the best deep flavor!! The dirty chai our way is perfect for someone that likes a stronger brew and flavor profile! 10/10 strongly recommend Cafe x Jose, we can’t wait to come back!!! (Also they put cute hearts over the i in my name and that was so adorable, we love a girly pop <3)
